Henan Qingzhou Cable Co., Ltd. (“we”) collects personal information only where it is needed to answer a commercial enquiry and to supply cable against an order. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website we receive the name, company, email address and telephone or WhatsApp number you enter, together with the requirement you describe. If you go on to place an order we will also hold the commercial and shipping details needed to manufacture and deliver it — consignee, destination port, delivery address and the contact who receives the goods.

We do not ask for, and do not want, any special category data. Please do not send passport scans, identity numbers or payment card details through the enquiry form.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

• To reply to your enquiry with a technical proposal and a price — the information is used for the purpose you sent it for
• To perform a contract, where an enquiry becomes an order
• To meet export, customs and tax record-keeping obligations
• Where we have a legitimate interest in keeping a record of who we have quoted and what we quoted

Who else sees it

We do not sell contact data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. In the course of fulfilling an order, the information necessary to move the goods is shared with the parties who move them — freight forwarder, shipping line, insurer, inspection body and the banks handling the documentary credit. Each receives only what that role requires.

Where a third-party test house such as CEPRI or TICW issues a report against your project, your project reference may appear on that report.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for two years, so that we can pick up the thread if you come back to the same project. Order records are kept for the period required by export and tax law in China, which is currently ten years.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the cookies needed to make pages work. If website analytics are added, this page will be updated to name the provider and describe what is measured, and a consent notice will be shown where the applicable law requires one.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Where a request conflicts with a record we are legally required to keep — an export declaration, for example — we will tell you which part we cannot delete and why.
