Every lot is tested before it is packed
Testing is not a gate at the end of the line — it runs alongside production. Conductor is checked before stranding, insulation before sheathing, and the finished length before it goes on the drum.
Routine tests run on the actual lot being shipped to you. Type tests prove the construction against the standard your project is specified to. Where an inspection and test plan calls for a witness point or a third-party report, we arrange it at CEPRI or TICW and the report travels with the shipment.
- Routine tests on every production lot
- Type tests to AS/NZS, IEC, ASTM and BS EN
- Witness points accommodated on request
- Reports issued before the vessel sails
What we can test in house
The four groups below cover what a utility or EPC inspection and test plan normally asks for on conductor and cable.
Four checkpoints, not one
Incoming material. Aluminium rod and steel wire are checked for resistivity, tensile and surface condition before they enter the drawing line. A bad rod cannot be corrected downstream.
Drawn wire. Diameter, tensile, elongation and wrapping are checked per coil, so a stranding machine is never fed out-of-spec wire.
Stranded conductor. Lay ratio, direction, overall diameter and DC resistance are verified against the standard's table before insulation or before the conductor goes to the drum.
Finished length. Routine electrical tests run on the delivered length, and the drum is marked and sealed only after the record is signed off.

Customers are welcome to visit — both production parks are open to inspection by appointment.
Does your ITP need a witness point?
Send us the inspection and test plan — we confirm which tests we run in house, which go to CEPRI or TICW, and what the schedule impact is.
