Aerial bundled cable twists insulated cores around a bare or insulated messenger, so an overhead distribution line can run compact, touch-safe and far less prone to faults from vegetation or accidental contact than open-wire construction.

ABC is the default for new low-voltage reticulation in most export markets, and increasingly for medium-voltage covered line wire where a route passes through trees or built-up areas.

We supply to IEC 60502-1, AS/NZS 3560 and NF C 33-209, with drum marking and core identification to the utility’s own specification.
